Pictured nearing completion is our conversion of a stable dating from the early 1890s for use as a guest apartment over a pool house and garage. The original building was built rather like a circus tent made out of wood — it shook in the wind. All exterior framing and roof forms were preserved to grandfather the buiding within zoning restrictions. The building was re-structured, re-organized, re-fenestrated, and insulated to an exceptionally high standard. HRV heat recovery ventilation freshens the air-tight envelope.
